The Turtles

Mahina Surf is a magical little spot and the giant green sea turtles know it.   Daily visits of these beautiful creatures take place at the water's edge just outside the condo.  Sitting on the lanai you'll see their little heads popping up above the water.  During day time low tides, they'll find a sunny spot on the rocks or sand to soak in some rays and take a well deserved nap.  These turtles are endangered so visitors should be mindful to keep a distance and not to touch or disturb them, but these relaxed creatures will rest quietly for extended periods of time and you'll be able to admire their beauty and dinosaur-like shells.
